Intermediary
database
This base contains:
- The data converted by the import program
to the standard format of the Open Interface
- The history of the imported and transferred
data.
- The parameters specific to each bank
(conformity to the codes operations,
customers, type of securities, accounts,
etc.).
This database can be physically dissociated
(for example on another server) from the application
database. |
Transfer
This function makes it possible to transfer data
from the intermediate database to the various modules
of CONCEPT (financial accounting, securities accounting,
portfolio management).
It does not depend on the source of inTraining.
Thus, it is a universal interface, which does not
have to be modified when creating a link to a new
bank.
The transfer can either be made automatically or
manually. In such a case, the user can make a selection
by bank, customer, type of operation, period, etc.
All the operations matching the selection are then
loaded on a temporary status into the financial
accounting, securities accounting or portfolio management.
This temporary status enables the user to control
transferred inTraining before making it definitive.
Another function makes it possible to cancel the
transfer either in part or as a whole, according
to the same selection criteria.
Many reports ensure control of the right execution
of the various operations.
According to the inTraining provided by some banks,
the system can also create additional data in specific
files. For example, the system can thus automatically
open a new article for a security not yet listed
in the securities file.
Many functionalities have been designed to check
and ensure the consistency of transferred files,
to safeguard the integrity of the operating database
and to manage detected errors.
